The God-Factor
With God, all things are possible.
The theme of the founding fathers of America is "in God we trust".
Believe in God and put all things before Him. Psalm 119:11 says; I have laid up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
Joshua 1:8 says; This book of the law must not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous and then you shall have good success.
Sin is a product of the deficiency of the word of God.
Do not rely on church and mosque sermons alone. Fight the problem of sin this year.
I am trying my best to do the same. I have resolved to not giving in to acts like lying, laziness, lusts (I'm only human), and getting angry (I'll write about some of these later).

Seek the Holy Spirit in 2017
God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Be intentional
Yes! Be intentional. Predetermine all your actions and attitude.
Be intentional about every move of your life and write down your dreams and thoughts.
Successful people are intentional.
They determine the results of actions yet to be carried out.
Speak the Truth
Honesty is a key to excellence. When you are honest, you will win the heart of people who can pull you up the ladder.
Business transactions in Africa are a bit difficult these days. One is always forced to cut corners.
I assure you that if you stay true this year, things will work out in a miraculous way. Pay tithe and offering regularly and deal with people truthfully.

Work Hard and Stay Focused
Set a goal and objective. Work towards it and be unshakable. With the growing world of technology; SnapChat instagram, facebook, twitter and so on are very smart distractions. They are so tricky that a long time feels like seconds. Reduce time spent on them in order to achieve more objectives.

Have a Target
Having a target is different from having a goal. You cannot have a target without a goal or objective.

So, define what you want first (Have a goal), then define how and when you want it (That's a target)
For me, I want to make my first million by September 2017.
You should also define your route (course) to achieve the goal.
Forgive Easily
This is a very strong virtue. I have tried forgiving and I must admit that it gives peace of mind

Be Persistent
Persistence is an habit of great people. Successful people don't stop when they fail. They get back up on their feet and keep on trying. When they succeed, they don't stop achieving. They continue to work harder to be better.
This is not because they want to get richer but because they want to get better. Success becomes a habit and they get paid more and more.
Gratitute
Praise God and remain Thankful. It is easy to let others' blessings distract you. Don't give in to jealousy, complaining and other sad acts. Don't worry, be happy.

Give freely
Giving is a way to stay happy and get more. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35. Giving gives you control of your emotions. It also makes you blessing. There are a lot of benefits in giving. Try giving someone something special today.
