MTN Music Plus rises faster than Spinlet

To all Nigerian music makers and lovers, it's high time you made more money from music.

Year after year, Nigerian artists lose millions of Naira to pirates. Music sharing sites like  MTN Music Plus, Spinlet, iTunes and so on  have helped solve this by providing accessible quality music at affordable prices.

However, MTN Music Plus is rising so fast that it is phasing out Spinlet; Nigeria's most populous music sharing site. This is according to MTN Music Plus director at Tech Plus 2016 event at Eko Hotel.

MTN Music Plus receives more that 67000 music submissions in a day and provides free streaming service to its users.

Certainly, MTN is using its network coverage to outrun other music sharing sites, on the other hand, the telecom giant displays popular artistes on its homepage.

I believe there's no much opportunity given to new artistes whose music have not been known.


I challenge MTN Music Plus to give opportunity to new artistes who upload their songs on the platform by creating a column on the website for latest uploads so as to give opportunity to aspiring artistes.
