Investors needed for Nigeria's First Electric Car

Since the success of the self-funded project in 2016, these team of young Nigerians have not been able to move to the next phase due to lack of financial assistance.

I met one of the innovators of the project at Tech Plus 2016 which held in the conference hall of Eko Hotel in Lagos.

He told me how the project to create the remarkable machine was self funded by the creators and how they needed investors to advance their creation and develop the D0ve 2.0.

The first electric car in Nigeria is a small one seater 6 feet car which moves at about 60 km per hour.
It has small wheels which are designed to navigate Nigerian roads.

The machine runs on only rechargeable batteries which run up to 300 km before recharge.

Here are pictures of some of the creators troubleshooting a failed kick-start.
The Project D0ve initiative was founded by 2 UNILAG undergraduates; Olukoya Olusanya and Maduka Smart with other undergrads.

I believe the guys will go places.
When they do, people who had opportunity to invest in their dream will regret missing out.

Project D0ve can be followed on www.projectd0veinitiative.org
